After graduating from medical school, Dr. Chin undertook a bariatric fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. During this time, he worked alongside world leaders in laparoscopic surgery. He is board-certified in surgery and advanced trauma life support by the American College of Surgeons. He is also a trauma surgeon at John Muir Medical Center in Concord, which is the only trauma center in Contra Costa County.
